and, well, to be totally honest, just about the time I got this much done, went to my room to logon and give Fingus her daily requirement of attention, we hung out for a while, in the meantime,

a 327 block appeared, as did a mix and match assortment of powdercoated parts for both the 327 & 455, the seat is from the sx, the 70' Philco Tv I got going for J and now it sits in the dining nook. Gotta Love it. Full race Rims & Tires in the living room behind a chair. I do Love it, toys everywhere, hehehehe
It does seem a bit chaotic and Sanford & Son (I cooked BBQ For Redd Foxx), but, it doesn't just clutter, when we do get through with things, we're usually pretty proud of them. It's just, the projects keep coming faster than we can finish the previous ones. To really do it right takes time, that's part of the fun, watching it first disentegrate into it's component parts and then slowly, painstakingly go back together better than ever mechanically and rolling art aesthetically. Even to take wood and shape it, to release the inner form that it wants to be, it's worth it. One of my forms of creativity is food, the garden is part of it, I don't just make cold stuff hot. I start by growing it, picking it fresh, it should appeal to all 5 of the senses, if you think about it, the first thing you do is smell food, next you see it, then you touch it, and if it's crunchy, hear it, the last thing you actually do is taste the food.
All of the other senses are just as important....
Cooking is art, as are building cars, carving, painting and all of the more traditionally accepted modes.
