The Stray Cats

This is a Bar I occaisionally work at, Obviously it is "the Stray Cats Bar & Grill"
In real Life my Nickname is "Mouse", has been since Thanksgiving Day 1966.
Behind the Bar are Numerous Strays, I feed them (customers donate food, and all my tips go to food & getting them fixed), find them Homes when I can (Blossom is one of the Kats) their used to my voice and come when I tell them its chow time. There can be anywhere from 5-11 on any given day.
They have a pretty hard life, their life expectancy without a home is about 1yr. There are exceptions, Floozy has been back there her entire life (close to 3yrs) she had one litter of 4 before I got here fixed, I got homes for all of them, but can't find her one, everybody says she's too old, hell, she's pick of the mewling, friendliest, smartest if it weren't for Fingus I'd bring her home, When Blossom was hurting, tiny as she is she'd hold off the others and push him at the food and make him eat, she's got serious Maternal Instincts. This is Digi, one of Hers, and a Complete Success, He now lives with a Pug, that has adopted him, they sleep together, eat together and play together. As you can see, He's a little spoiled by his Humans too. So Far We've Placed 9 in the last 6 mos. I have to get them as soon as possible, after 6 mos, nobody wants them, I have no idea why
but that's how it is. It's not much of a life, but it's that or a Kill Shelter, the only No-Kill Shelters around want $250 per cat to take them in, I just can't afford it.
Just Keep doin what I can and take the Wins where I can get them.......
